Emperor_Larsen: Since my return in May, I have implemented many changes within the Imperial Order. Among these: the change in the ranking system, the addition of new High Command Offices, the new Imperial Command Authority Staff structure, the finalizing of the
Emperor_Larsen: Fleet Order of Battle, and much more. In addition, I presented a new, easier to use interface for the .ORG domain site, brought the Holonet up to date, and started offering free e-mail addresses to every member via our secondary .NET server. For
Emperor_Larsen: the most part, many of these things were long overdue in part because of my long abscence. However, I did not do all this alone, everyone's support and willingness to lend a hand makes running the Imperial Order that much more efficient. I would
Emperor_Larsen: like to thank all of you for helping me to make the Imperial Order a better place, your efforts are much appreciated and never forgotten.
Emperor_Larsen: The year of 2002 was one of re-grouping and re-structuring. The year of 2003 will be one of implementation.
Emperor_Larsen: Already I have began to formulate new ideas and plans for practically every aspect of IO Events, and some that have not been seen before. Foremost will be Gaming, and I won't be able to stress the importance of this enough over the coming months. The
Emperor_Larsen: Imperial Order was founded on gaming, and it is a prime reason why many people join our group. Granted, there has not been much gaming going on lately, but that is going to change now. New competitions and tournaments for all Divisions will be
Emperor_Larsen: implemented, and our challenges and Ladders will take more of a role than they have in the past. Gaming against fellow members, or even outsiders, always needs competitive spirit, but the main thing is to also have fun.
Emperor_Larsen: Official Battles will from now on be held Fleet-wide, for every Division, so that every member can participate in our glorious victories firsthand. The War Room website will function as the focal information center for these Battles, including
Emperor_Larsen: files downloads, the official storyline, Intel reports, a battle score board and more. Everyone's help, effort and support will be needed for each battle, especially in the development and editing stages, those who assist me in development and creation are going to be highly rewarded.
Emperor_Larsen: More IRC Events are also in the works, and everyone's feedback and ideas are appreciated in helping these events come to life. Since IRC is one of the three main forms of communication for the Empire, it should only be right that we hold more
Emperor_Larsen: online activities for everyone to join in on.
Emperor_Larsen: We will also be holding other competitions from now on, such as story, graphics and other non-gaming forms of competitions.
Emperor_Larsen: It is my vision that this year will be the greatest one ever for the Imperial Order! With everyone pulling together and working towards our common goals, we will be able to achieve great results. I know everyone has the skills, talent and

Emperor_Larsen: the Dark Jedi Order in 1999, he soon transferred to the Fleet, where he received his first commission as a
Emperor_Larsen: Flight Member in Tau Squadron. There he moved up in rank quickly, eventually gaining the rank of General and
Emperor_Larsen: Squadron Commander of Tau Sqauadron. During his stay in Furious Wing I, he also served as the Gamma Squadron
Emperor_Larsen: Commander, and eventually was appointed to Wing Commander of the entire Wing. He then transferred back to the
Emperor_Larsen: Dark Jedi Order full time, gaining command of the ISD Indomitable. During this time, his power and skills in
Emperor_Larsen: the ways of the Dark Side improved and increased until he finally gained the title of Sith Master, when he
Emperor_Larsen: became known as Darth Venator. His most recent achievements include his appointment to the Imperial Command

Emperor_Larsen: This year, the LAA is going to two officers, who, without their help, the Imperial Order would not be here today.
Emperor_Larsen: During my absence from the Empire, Grand Admiral Naziarian Kamin and Grand Admiral Marcus Wulfman took up the heavy burden of running the entire Imperial Order.

Both sects of the Dark Jedi Order have been actively engaged in their own efforts to expand and develop their respective sects and to strengthen the relationship between them.
Grand_Admiral_Kamin: The Sith Order has made impressive strides under the leader ship of Dark Lord of the Sith Azrael DarkSun and his apprentice Darth Venator. Never has there been more capable leadership in the Sith Order.
Grand_Admiral_Kamin: The Krath Order has undergone dramatic change of its own with the ascension of Krath Master William Wigefield to the position of High Priest of the Krath. High Priest Wigefield is a proven leader with the skills and determination to build upon the already sturdy foundation of the Krath Order.
Grand_Admiral_Kamin: All in all, I am very pleased with the current state of Imperial Order. I could not be prouder to be a part of such a great group of individuals. And with so much in store for the Imperial Order in the coming years I could never tire of it, nor retire from it. The future holds great things for us, and each day I embrace the opportunity to be involved.

Grand_Admiral_Dronshed: Thank you, Emperor Larsen. I was impressed by your state of the Empire address in which you set out the direction of our future policies. I know all of what you said will be fulfiled, simply because... that's the experience! :)
Grand_Admiral_Dronshed: I would like to congratulate personally to each officer who received promotions and awards today. You make us all proud.
Grand_Admiral_Dronshed: I thought much about what new and interesting I can say to such an able and dedicated audience as yours, and I decided to talk a bit about what the Imperial Order means to me, personally.
Grand_Admiral_Dronshed: Roughly over five years ago, I created a small online community of Diablo players (a great hype at the time) with the name of Imperial Order… trying to establish a link between the Star Wars universe and the medieval-style role play-action game, strangely enough.
Grand_Admiral_Dronshed: When attempting to search for my club’s Internet homepage, which I had created previously, this organization came up early among the results.
Grand_Admiral_Dronshed: “Star Wars, gaming, join the Empire,” this doesn’t sound so bad, I thought, I might as well check it out. Well, I did, and the rest is, as they say, history.
Grand_Admiral_Dronshed: At first, I saw in the Imperial Order an outlet for my uncontrollable fanaticism (I think it is quite accurate to say that) for Star Wars and a desire to gain power and recognition even if in such a comparatively confined realm.
Grand_Admiral_Dronshed: Life in many senses was much more difficult then, going to high school with people who cared little about me, or my interests. At the other end was the IO, which appreciated every effort I put into it. It was more of an escape than you can imagine.
Grand_Admiral_Dronshed: As my life proceeded into my university years, I was finally surrounded by people who appreciated my company and I consequently became more balanced. I began to take a more mature stance to the Order. I began to see individuals, unique faces through the ranks and callsigns.
Grand_Admiral_Dronshed: As I went from idle mediocrity more towards recognition, this place has always had a separate and undisturbed, although changing role in my heart. My objective has become to make it a more and more enjoyable place to each and every individual member.
Grand_Admiral_Dronshed: That is why I attribute leading importance to the Morale Office and to all projects that take discussions and interaction to so far unexplored levels.
Grand_Admiral_Dronshed: This is about much more than Star Wars. It is about interesting personalities meeting and enjoying each other’s company. There can be no better examples than Merlyn and Wulfman’s marriage or the deepening relationship of Lady Crystal and our Emperor, all of whom I wish health to and the best of luck.
Grand_Admiral_Dronshed: I congratulate everyone who has had a part in making this organization the diverse forum it is today, and encourage them to continue their efforts in this direction. There are many reasons for any one member to join and stay with us, and this can be one of our great strengths.
Grand_Admiral_Dronshed: That leads me to the final point of my speech today. I would like to use this special occasion to announce the opening of the Gavlinne Ruhe Foundation, which I established to further encourage innovation and reward excellence in the Imperial Order.

DLS_Azrael_DS: We are going to hear a lot of speeches tonight/day so some of what is said, not only by me, will be kliches by dawn. :-) Anyways, Ive been a member of this club for ... for ... a while, I think 3 years ... maybe even more, Ive lost count.
DLS_Azrael_DS: I can say a lot of words of praise to the club and it is really hard to express your feelings about a club on the Internet when the feelings are this strong.
DLS_Azrael_DS: I, unlike so many others, have never been a member of any other club so I cant really compare ... and hey, maybe nothing compares to this, you tell me. :-)
DLS_Azrael_DS: My membership has been ups and downs. Not when it comes to wether or not I want to be a member, but ups and downs when it comes to spending time.
DLS_Azrael_DS: I, as so many others, sometimes regret that there is actually something called "RL" and that Imperial Credits dont pay the bill. But its when you have your downs that the people of this club really show their worth. Because you get to miss it, as you would miss being with best friend or your family.
DLS_Azrael_DS: ... and these are not empty words. So many times have I been peptalked, encouraged and supported by the members of this club. And Im not talking about club related issues here, Im talking me as an RL person.
DLS_Azrael_DS: I may have mentioned this before, but I lost my very best and most beloved friend about 3 years ago. (March, 2000) and this resulted in a split among my RL friends.
DLS_Azrael_DS: But some of my friends did not isolate themselves. The members of the IO that Im really close to were still there.
DLS_Azrael_DS: Thanks to the members of the IO, lossing a friend is now a scar that I have learned to live with, instead of being an open wound, slowly killing me.
DLS_Azrael_DS: For that, I give you all thanks, still up to this day. This is the base of me being willing to work late at night for this club, welcoming new members and obeying my superiours to the max.
DLS_Azrael_DS: That is what I owe to this club. My full support and energy, as I want everyone to experience the relationsship you can have with people, hundreds maybe thousands of miles away ... and most of them you have never actually met !
DLS_Azrael_DS: The IO started like a hobby for me, but as some as you may also experience yourself, its turned out to be something that people regularly ask me about. Like "how are things in the Empire these days?" stuff like that.
DLS_Azrael_DS: THEY get intrigued as well by the stories I share with them AND they see how you can really create some fun for yourself ... and taking the next step : actually getting up and personal, which is where the true essence of this community is.
DLS_Azrael_DS: Members of the Imperial Order - we are playing a game here, we are having fun. But this is also a place where you can really make friends for life, friend that do not care about your skincolor, looks and how bad you smell. :-)
DLS_Azrael_DS: I can not wait to help bringing the IO into 2003. With everyone keeping up the spirit and doing their best to progress, we will have so many hours, days, weeks, months and years coming.
DLS_Azrael_DS: Ok ...I realize that may speech may be a more personal than Azrael DarkSun'ish one, but then so be it.

HPK_Wigefield: Greetings all, its is a great honor to initiate my speech this year as part of the High Command, and also as the New High Priest of the Krath. Unlike many of us today, and unlike my usual self, this speech will be short.
HPK_Wigefield: First off, i would like to thank every one in the Imperial Order for giving me the tools i needed to get this far.
HPK_Wigefield: Emperor's Hand Merlyn. Yes, we have had our share of problems, mainly the fact that I was an impatient student, but i can say this; With you i have learned more then i could even think of, and for that, i am extremly in your dept.
HPK_Wigefield: The next, is Sith Apprentice Venator, my 2nd master. Maugrim, with you i have learned manything about the Force and that it is much more that just a simple power. For that, and for your friendship, i owe you my gratitude.
HPK_Wigefield: Dark Lord of The Sith Arzrael Darksun, your aid in encoriging me has been a valubale aid in furthing myself in the IO. Also, are friendship has grown and also givien me confidence. For that, i owe you my friendship.
HPK_Wigefield: Max Pourteous...what can i say about you? Well, first off, even if there have been some times where I was a bit hyper, you where always there to aid me see it. We have been friends for a while, and your Advice has always been a welcome. For that, you have my Trust.
HPK_Wigefield: Allison, my faithful Wing XO, you stood by me all the time i was WCO, and even if I am now in High Command, and you are now the WCO, you will always be a close friend. Now the command responsability comes to you, and you do deserve it. Just keep Warbird alive, thats your main objective now, and i know you can do it. For all those faithful days, you have my respect.
HPK_Wigefield: Morgan, my Head Assistant. We know each other IRL, and even if i know you best from all others, you keep surprising me. Your work is hard, and your will to accomplish is incredible. Even if you still have problems letting go of certain works and deligating, you still area good leader as an example, even to myself. For all this, you have my appreciation.
HPK_Wigefield: And finaly, My Leige, the Emperor. For 2 years now i have been working in the IO to serve your interests and your vision. I have worked hard not to advance my own self, but to advance your will. Now you have come back, and when you where initiating changes, you have named me Communication Officer, and gave me a seat in the High Command.
HPK_Wigefield: That day was the best of my Carrer, it showed me that even if you where the Great Leader, you did not forget those that worked for you, and rewared them according to there efforts. On that day, all the dougts about your leadership (as you where not there when i joined the IO) have vanished, and i will now follow you eyes shut! For all this, you have my eternal service.
