Fleet-Wide Battles and The War Room Emperor_Larsen: Even though I posted this on the Holonet, I am repeating it here because it is IMPORTANT! Emperor_Larsen: As I mentioned at the Party, the War Room website will be taking the forefront as the main information/download center for Fleet-wide Battles. Emperor_Larsen: I've updated the site to expand its usage: Emperor_Larsen: http://www.imperialorder.org/warroom/ Emperor_Larsen: I've received a couple of ideas about the release and play of future battles. They will of course be for all platforms, but one suggestion I have recieved would be to do them in Ladder format, ie, have Ladder matches count towards the battle by Emperor_Larsen: flying the specified mission. For instance Mission 1 for the first week of the month, Mission 2 the next week and so on. Emperor_Larsen: Same would go for JK/JO/GB playing MP levels or SP levels, and RPG would operate just like Battle 26 was done. Emperor_Larsen: Of course for future battles, ie 27 and up, I will need assistance in development, primarily for JK/JO and GB levels. I have no problem making the TIE/XvT/XWA missions, but I do not have the time to create for all platforms. That's where all of you can help out and earn some rewards! Emperor_Larsen: I am hereby requesting that every officer with JK/JO or GB Level Editing/Creation skills email me so I can create Emperor_Larsen: a list of editors. Even if you're just starting out with editing, that's fine, or if you've never edited before Emperor_Larsen: but want to learn, you're more than welcome to help out, everyone that does know how to edit learned how at some Emperor_Larsen: point. Emperor_Larsen: Almost everyone has shown their support for having Fleet-wide Battles, but they will NOT happen if no one aids Emperor_Larsen: in their creation! Emperor_Larsen: 2.) Battle 26 - TIE Fighter Emperor_Larsen: Battle 26 has been released for TIE Fighter and can be downloaded at: http://www.imperialorder.org/tactical/officialbat/tie/iobat26.zip Emperor_Larsen: Anyone with TIE Fighter can fly this battle to earn the Battle Medal for it. As per standard procedure, your battle pilot file goes to your commanding officer. I'm requesting that all Commanding Officers who receive pilot files, inform me via email of such, ie, sending me the Pilot Name, and Score so I can add them to the Battleboard Emperor_Larsen: The Battle formats for XvT and XWA will be released soon. Changes for Warbird Wing Emperor_Larsen: Some new changes are being implemented in Warbird Wing. Emperor_Larsen: Kite Squadron is now the designated LOA squadron for the Wing, with Hawk and Vulture remaining Emperor_Larsen: as the Active Squadrons. I have also designated Osprey Squadron as the Training Squadron for Emperor_Larsen: new Flight Cadets, and BG Shrike, just recently transferred back to the Fleet from Intel, will Emperor_Larsen: be the Osprey CMDR. For those unsure what we will be doing, our main work will be running IDEV. At last, IDEV has a real home. RA_Max_Porteous: I will continue as I have done since my return ensuring the IDEV goes from strength to strength, and teaches you skills that you can use to expand the Star Wars universe. RA_Max_Porteous: To aid me in this, the existing staff will remain, working hard as usual. I am looking for someone who has Jedi Knight and Jedi Outcast editing skills, as we are very lacking in this area. If anyone can fill these requirements, there is an assitant post waiting for them with the Logisticis Office.
