High Command Structural Changes Emperor_Larsen: After some heavy deliberations and taking some in-depth looks at how the current High Command is structured, the EX, CHO and I have arrived at a new layout for the existing HC offices. We have decided to combine some and others will move to their respective divisions. To start out with: Emperor_Larsen: Flight and Communications Offices: Emperor_Larsen: The FLO and COM Offices are being combined into one new office - the Information Office - which will be headed up by Vice Admiral Curgenven. The INO will combine the duties of both the FLO and COM, with a strong emphasis on the Officer Database, which is going to be expanded on and hold comprehensive records for all officers Emperor_Larsen: Logistics and Tactical Offices: Emperor_Larsen: The LO and TAC Offices are being combined into one new office - the Strategic Command Office - which will be headed up by Vice Admiral Porteous. The SCO will combine the duties of LO and TAC, and will continue to drive the courses of IDEV and also perform mission testing and archiving for member missions. (Official battles and MoUs will be handled by ICA) Emperor_Larsen: Dark Lord of the Sith and High Priest of the Krath: Emperor_Larsen: It has been decided that since the Dark Jedi Order is already represented in the High Command by ICA and the EX, that the DLS and HPK positions will be DJO only posts, taking up lifetime positions on the DJO Council Emperor_Larsen: The DLS/HPK change will not have any effect on the current DJO council or sect structures Emperor_Larsen: That covers all the HC Structure changes. While these are major changes in the IO, they were done for the good of the IO, and the changes are in no way reflections on the officers who held/currently hold these offices. Emperor_Larsen: 2.) ESD Leviathan News Emperor_Larsen: I'm pleased to announce to appointments onboard the Leviathan: Emperor_Larsen: The first goes to Vice Admiral Wigefield who I am hereby appointing as my Ship Captain, and who will be assisting me in running the daily operations on board our command ship. All WCs and RCs will report directly into him with your weekly reports/rosters with a cc: to me Emperor_Larsen: The second appointment goes to Major General Ty1, who I hereby appoint as the Regiment Executive Officer of Avenger Regiment. MG Ty1 will also be taking the position of PXO of Panther Platoon. Emperor_Larsen: My congratulations to both of you, and I wish you luck in your new assignments! Emperor_Larsen: 3.) Imperial Order Rules Update - Jedi Knight and Jedi Outcast Grand_Admiral_Kamin: The IO Rules for JK and JO have been updated. The new rule set will be posted on the Holonet tonight. The changes are in available Force Powers and for that reason only affect DJO members. Grand_Admiral_Kamin: As a reminder, IO rules are required in all official matches played between members of the IO. Also, IO rules are the default rule set in any match initiated in the IO channels. The only time IO rules are not in effect is when all players agree to a different rule set prior to beginning the game. Grand_Admiral_Kamin: 2. Executor's Office Site Update Grand_Admiral_Kamin: As indicated last week, I am constructing a new website for the Executor's Office. I am pleased to say that significant progress has been made on this project and the new site should be ready in less than two weeks. Grand_Admiral_Kamin: Thank you, Emperor Larsen. GA_Wulfman: Yes i do have a few things GA_Wulfman: Imperial Trade Federation: GA_Wulfman: When the new ITF will go back live there will also be a new price system come in place. Therefore I will consider two Options: GA_Wulfman: 1) Get a full clear restart by terminating all current companies and give every own of any facility, ship or moon the "old" value back on the account. GA_Wulfman: 2) Keep all existing companies. GA_Wulfman: If we go for option two this will create a lot more work and it will also give older IO members quite an advantage. As most older Io members already have quite a bit of money on their accounts this would seem unfair to me. I prefer the option 1, but I am interested in your opinions, so please check the holonet and post your comment. GA_Wulfman: I have already redone most of the ship marked, but please wait before you start ordering. I would like to have also the new company Database in place before we start. GA_Wulfman: Chief of Operations Office changes (ITF / EI) GA_Wulfman: I have discussed this with the Emperor and I hereby change the structure of my office a little bit. With this I remove all my former assistant positions and nobody shall have the title A:CHO or HA: CHO anymore GA_Wulfman: At the same time I create directors of certain parts of the CHO Office: GA_Wulfman: Director of Finance - handles the pay for the companies and the stock market etc GA_Wulfman: Director of Commerce - handles the EI and buying of facilities, etc GA_Wulfman: Director of Trade - handles missions, testing, stories etc GA_Wulfman: Each director will be transferred to the Headquarter of the ITF (in Bilbringi) and take over a command of an ISD / Task Force in the 2nd Fleet.
